Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Charles Rogers has a warrant out for his arrest in Michigan, according to MLive.com reporter Andy Hoag. This is the fourth time in 18 months that a judge has issued a warrant for Rogers’ arrest.

Saginaw County District Judge A.T. Frank issued the warrant for Rogers who faces five misdemeanors from two unrelated incidents. He also failed to appear for a pre-trial hearing. Rogers, 32, entered rehab with help from the NFL for marijuana and alcohol abuse.

Frank said that Saginaw County officials as well as NLFPA officials are attempting to locate Rogers but have not found the former Lions receiver. Rogers was taken with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2003 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.

What are the warrants about? Is this a bench warrant on a failure to appear for a traffic violation? Or is he accused of robbing someone? There's a big difference! How can you even write this without that information?!?!

Its a shame...he had such talent and pissed it away.  Our high school always dreaded playing his Saginaw High team because he could torch the secondary.  He looked good at MSU and I had high hopes for his days with the Lions, could have been a good veteran receiver for when CJ came into the fold.  Why do so many athletic careers go up in (drug) smoke?

That's easy. He's hiding in Matt Millen's basement...

You wonder where these bad habits could possibly come from. After reading the readers comments about the 'alleged' problems at Oklahoma State it's clear that the difficulties didn't start in college.  No sex, drugs, or dirty money there. No sir. Just read the comments. Those guys will set you straight.

The Lions have had some bad luck in the WR draft picks.. One Rogers and two Williams..These players should of been forced to return all their guaranteed money.

@atthebarbershop The article said why he had one arrest warrant. If you don't understand and want to know more, ask him when you see him. The way you want to know things, sounds like you know his whereabouts. You know that will get you arrested too?

@Rickapolis Exactly. Michigan State is a lot like Oklahoma State in they have to do dirty business to keep up with the big schools. Just a pit stop for everyone from players to coaches.

@strawwalker I think it had more to do with the incompetent GM in charge Matt Millen.

@el80ne @strawwalker I believe there's an outstanding court decision against Rogers to return some $6 million to the Lions......good luck on that one...
