A golf club in Wisconsin issued an apology Monday night after it ran an advertisement for a 9/11 themed discount promotion earlier in the day in the Wisconsin State Journal. The ad offered nine holes of golf for $9.11 as a way to “commemorate” Wednesday’s 12th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Tumbledown Trails Golf Course in Verona, Wisc., took to Facebook Monday night to apologize to anyone offended by the advertisement and pledged to donate a portion of any money made from the promotion to the 9/11 Memorial in New York City.

“We would first like to apologize to everyone that we have upset or feels we have disrespected in anyway. By no means did we mean to do this.”

The discount reportedly is not new this year. According to a report Tuesday from Golf.com, the club’s part-owner, Mark Watts, said the 9/11 themed discount began three years ago but that it was only this year that the club received a backlash. The response has even included death threats to the club’s employees. Club officials said they are considering keeping the course closed on Wednesday out of concern for people’s safety, adding that the sheriff’s department is on site at the clubhouse.

Watts said the club was simply trying to find a “unique way to keep this horrible tragedy in the public eye.”

“This wasn’t a moneymaking thing. We weren’t trying to profit. We just wanted to find a unique way to keep this horrible tragedy in the public eye … Now we’re getting death threats over it … The sheriff’s department is sitting in the clubhouse right now.”

On this 9/11 anniversary we show what we really are and our blanket hypocrisy all in one ad by a Wisconsin golf course!! The country, with flag waving cheers, Quickly Forgot and Abandoned the main missions, and once again promises to the Afghans, to invade and destroy another country and it's people thus turning the still ongoing, but winding down, Afghan theater into nothing about 9/11 as both then greatly increased and spread the criminal international terrorist ideology even into that country destroyed and in the present into Syria. This ad, though getting blasted especially by our hypocrisy, isn't the only blatant showing of over these past years since 9/11 and will be how it is remember in coming years, by car dealerships, furniture stores, now new tech outlets, and on and on!!!

RM: "We got a huge round of tax cuts in this country a few weeks before 9/11. Once 9/11 happened and we invaded Afghanistan, we kept the tax cuts anyway. How did we think we were going to pay for that war? Did we think it was free? Then, when we started a second simultaneous war in another country, we gave ourselves a second huge round of tax cuts. After that second war started. The wars, I guess, we thought would be free, don`t worry about it, civilians. Go about your business." 23 May 2013

Something never mentioned by those that did and those that fully supported the doing, The rubber stamping rapidly rising deficits started Before 9/11 and these wars and continued with right up to the collapsed economy!!

Deficits, especially huge, means the costs of wars and long term results from are passed on to later generations,  present is all borrowed, DeJa-Vu all over again!!
