TCU quarterback Casey Pachall suffered a fractured left forearm and will miss at least eight weeks, according to multiple reports. Pachall left Saturday’s game against Southeastern Louisiana with an injured forearm and was taken off the field.

Pachall had surgery on his left forearm to repair the fracture and will miss the majority of TCU’s season. Pachall braced for a fall with his left arm but landed awkwardly and was forced to exit the game in the first half. He was 8-of-14 for 100 passing yards and rushed sixt times for 12 yards before being forced to leave. Pachall was replaced by Trevone Boykin who led TCU to three consecutive scoring drives.

TCU upended Southeastern Louisiana 38-17 despite losing Pachall to injury.

Tragic turn of events for a really good guy who made some personal mistakes, owned up to them, worked to mend his ways, and was laboring to get back to top form. He was a sure thing for the NFL, but will now have to take another long, hard road to get there. Good luck, Casey... keep fighting for the shot you deserve!

Nothing for nothing, but TCU is a lot more dangerous with Boykin at QB. I would have been starting Boykin from the beginning.

Good luck with your recovery and I hope someone will pick you up in the draft next year.
