Lamar Odom’s alleged crack cocaine addiction has become so severe that his own drug dealer has stopped supplying him with drugs, TMZ reports.

TMZ sources claim people close to the dealer said Odom kept calling “incessantly” demanding more crack cocaine. The dealer allegedly got “scared” and decided to stop dealing the drug to Odom.

Odom’s alleged drug addiction has had its share of conflicting reports and unexpected turns. According to a People.com report, Odom checked out of a rehabilitation center in Los Angeles after just spending one day there. TMZ refuted the claim that Odom checked into rehab at all.

According to Odom’s drug dealer, Odom purchased $16,000 worth of cocaine while Odom was in New York in February. Odom was arrested on charges of driving under the influence in Los Angeles in August shortly after his agent refuted reports surfaced that Odom went missing.

Odom, 33, spent last season with the Los Angeles Clippers where he averaged four points and 5.8 rebounds while playing limited minutes in all 82 games.

Time will cure him of that nasty habit

On a side note, have you noticed that Regie Bush has a better career since he's not hanging out with the Kardashians anymore?

Richard Pryor mentioned a similar issue during his heavy freebase days.  No one wants to be the dealer that killed a star.

We know Chloe is not on any "C=rack diet" since her butt is as big as a house.

Chloe gained 2 lbs. for every one that Lamar lost as a result of his drug habit..

Eating chocolate can be an addiction too!

$800 a day on crack? if it was $10,00 a day that would be impressive. this is a joke.

For those who wonder why a drug dealer would stop dealing to a good customer:

Q: Would a cop rather bust a user or his dealer?  A: The dealer

So ... if Lamar's drug addiction is public info and he gets busted as a result, the first thing Shapiro will do is offer up the drug dealer to the cops in return for leniency.  No sane dealer with a sense of self-preservation would be dealing to someone whose addiction is national headline news. who will be arrested soon and who has enough money to afford an attorney who will negotiate a deal for his client.

complete nonsense. why would his dealer be scared, he should have been ecstatic that he could sell all his product to one wealthy customer

Oh, I'm sure this makes a difference, as there's only one dealer in his zip code.

this whole Lamar Odom saga shows everything that is wrong with American pop-culture... not his story, although that is sad... but rather the constant, sensationalized, tabloid coverage of it that obviously the brainwashed, celebrity-obsessed masses are eating up

we are all missing the obvious.  Khloe gave Lamar a choice!  Either sober up or they will get divorced.  Why are people suprised he has been cracked out since she said that to him?  he has resorted to having drug dealers doing interviews with TMZ so the K clan will realise he is on drugs.  he wants out of the marriage.  Live free or die Lamar!

Hey, if I could afford it, I would buy a kilo of coke too. Instead of buying an 8 ball here and there and exposing myself to risk, I would much rather just buy it once have a kilo in the desk...

SI Boss:  "How can we sensationalize this Lamar Odom drug thing even more?"

SI Intern:  "I know!  Let's say that his drug addition is SO BAD, that even alleged drug dealers won't deal him drugs, because he's just TOO DRUGGED OUT!"

SI Boss:  "I think we have a winner.  Throw a couple paragraphs together and put it on the website."

Um how in the hell do they know that his crack dealer cut him off ?  Did they go up to him and ask?  Like a person would admit to it. And like it can be verified ...Pfffft

If you are a crack dealer wouldnt you be the least scared of an NBA player.  I mean its not like they are desperate for money and will try to break in your house and steal drugs and other things as a result of their desperation

@PaulJasinevicius Nothing wrong with that butt.  Nothing at all.  All because you don't like it doesn't mean that someone else doesn't love it.

@sugaslim spoken like somebody who doesn't know sh** about drugs, the drug business, and drug addicts.

@sugaslim If you want the boys up your butt that is....because that's what they'll be the minute that star OD's on your junk.

@effeweall the fat cow (khloe) can't give him a baby. there's no point in marriage if you cant have kids. sex gets boring real quick especially if you have thousands of possible girls to sleep with.

@effeweall  this wasn't/isn't even a "marriage" - its two adult famous people who are living together and having sex - Marriage is an overused word for almost all of these celebrity couples...

@joe6647 Poor assumptions on your part. Just because they have money doesn't mean they wouldn't break into your pad looking for drugs. Two words ... Ryan Leaf.

@joe6647 I think he meant he'd be scared that Odom would OD and since he was the dealer, he'd be found out and go to jail.

@joe6647 pro-golfers are the kind of crack addicts i'd be least scared of.  now that i think about it, i'd be kinda scared of pro-bowlers or pro-billiards players.  weird.

@MPS @sugaslim I know a lot about drugs, the drug business and drug addicts.  More than you, I would suspect, although that's a dubious honor.  I ran the rehab program at the Hollywood-Sunset Free Clinic for several years, and also a program for families of addicts at a large hospital.  Almost 33 years ago, my dealer cut me off.  I was his best customer, by far.  When your dealer cuts you off, its time to think about getting clean/sober.  He did me the biggest favor of my life.  I haven't touched anything stronger than a cup of coffee since.  I would not be here if my dealer hadn't turned into my "eskimo" (what we addicts call someone who accidentally helps us get clean).  I fervently hope that Lamar can take advantage of the opportunity that his dealer has given him.

AaronDunckel
AaronDunckel

@JohnDThorpe @joe6647 well that and Odom is a  big guy, hes rich, and is highly addicted  - and its not like the dealer can call the cops for protection

its probably some of both

joe6647
joe6647

@HerschelAnderton @joe6647 lol...well, I was just trying to make a point a crack dealer shouldnt be scared of someone who is that well off with money

HerschelAnderton
HerschelAnderton

@joe6647 @HerschelAnderton for whatever reason, they strike me (sorry..) as a little psychologically unstable.  that and the fact that they don't make a whole lot of money.  so when that good bowling tourney money starts to run out, they'd be just like any other drug addict: poor and desperate.
