Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant has repeatedly said he is happy with the team, but there has been rampant speculation that the three-time scoring champ might bolt for greener pastures after his current contract is done.

Durant signed with Jay Z’s Roc Nation Sports in June after a season in which he was second in the NBA in scoring average (28.1). He also added 7.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game while shooting 51 percent from the field.

According to Daily Thunder, during a recent Nike-sponsored Tour de Durant through France, Durant was asked about his future in Oklahoma City.

“I like where I’m at right now. I enjoy playing for OKC,” he said. “As of today, I love it there, man. I want to be there. I love the fans, I love my team, I love everything about the city. I don’t have any plans to move.”

Durant is signed through the end of the 2015-2016 season. He is set to make $17.8 million next season, $18.9 million in 2014-15 and $20.15 million in the final year of the deal.

The term collaborators only applies to the 3 muskateers in southbeach, not as the writer implies

I live in OKC.  I don't feel like I am naive by asking, what rampant speculation?  Does the writer even know what rampant means?  Kevin Durant would only leave to have a chance to win a title, in which he has a chance every year playing in OKC.

In my perfect world, when his contract is up he signs with the new Seattle team.

@SukeMadiq Orange County(OC), you mean, even then probably not?  Oklahoma City (OKC), we have our share of gang bangers and there are ghetto areas just like any other major city in the world.  Is it filled with ghettos and gangs? No.
