Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones will miss four to six weeks with an MCL sprain of his right knee, according to a NBC Sports report.

Jones was injured in the Ravens season-opening game against the Denver Broncos when Jones collided with teammate Brynden Trawick while trying to field a punt. After Trawick ran into Jones on the special teams play, Jones walked off the field with a noticeable limp and had an MRI on the injured knee.

According to the NBC report, Jones most likely has a Grade II MCL sprain which could be mended with surgery.

Jones caught 30 balls for 406 yards and one touchdown with the Ravens last season.

And, by the way, Jacoby Jones did a little bit of kick-returning too, right - "reporter"?

The stupid collision was sickening to watch.  Best wishes to Jones for a speedy recovery .  Wake up Trawick!  Although I'm sure you feel bad about it, I hope that you apologized for screwing up Jones' year.

Trawick collided with Jones...Stupid rookie mistake ..Looks like Raven's already miss A. Bolden..

Whatever

Trawick collided with Jones, not the other way around. Jones was just standing there waiting for the punt to come down. And yes, it makes a difference SI.

The Ravens were screwed anyway counting on him to be their #2 receiver.  The Texans found out he is not capable of that.
