Don’t be surprised if the New York Jets offense and defense has trouble stopping the Tampa Bay Buccaneers when the two teams play this Sunday.

Buccaneers and former Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis said he will be more than happy to tell what he knows about the Jets, a team he spent his first six seasons with before being traded this past offseason.

“I’ll spill the beans and let him know what we used to run,” Revis said via the Tampa Bay Times“What things coach (Rex) Ryan might do. It’s almost like stealing a little bit. That’s what you’ve got to do. You take the information and pass it to the offensive coordinator.”

The Jets receiving corps also could have issues catching passes too from the revamped Bucs secondary.

BANKS: Tampa’s pass defense has been addressed in a huge way

“I know these guys,” Revis said. “I played against them every day in practice. I’ve got a bunch of tips on those guys and the good thing about it is I’ve been sharing them with our secondary.”

You serious Revis? You got your money, you got fame and so now you will play "I spy" with the Jets of all teams. This team is already going to lose most of their games maybe only win two to three. You don't have no information that is needed to get the edge on the Jets. Oh yeah, shut up and play.

Revis, the Jets have a NEW OC, and new QB, new running backs and a new DC, and you will spill the beans on the Jets, Must be a small can of beans...........

I can't wait to watch Revis getting toasted in Tampa. I stick by my prediction that the Bucs cut Revis after this season.

This is truly groundbreaking news.  I wonder if in the history of the NFL a traded player has ever returned to play against his former team.  Once the coaches realize that traded players could possibly give out "secrets" they will probably stop trading players altogether.  Everyone will just stay on one team for life.  Otherwise it's just too big a security risk.  Wow.  There's a first time for everything.

The Jets have a game plan? Would it be called trying not to be embarrassed?

Revis is FULL of beans. Consistent with no class comments. Oh, I miss the days of the  classy DB's  who shut their mouth and just did their job (Mel Blount, Charlie Waters, Willie Brown, Herb Adderly, Jerry Logan). Revis needs just needs to make sure that his knee is stable and nothing else.

"OK guys, here what they'll do. Geno will run around lost like he did in college and then rex will look at his foot work, and then after they fumble the game away, Rex htis the Golden Corral."

i loved revis but what i cant understand is that he held out 2 times- never was a team player- and def would have left via free agency had they not traded him BECAUSE he was demanding the highest salary for a defensive player in history.  i say good riddance.  the article however is really really stupid-  i mean, is revis the first player in the history of the NFL to switch teams via free agency or trade or getting cut and then re-signing elsewhere?  um no.  ridiculous.   i had enough of these non jets stories.

With as much tape study that coaches do these days, a player telling them stuff like that really makes no difference.

Funny that they even need this "intelligence" to beat the lowly Jets...

Exactly.  The league turnover is worse than McDonald's.  The coaches make changes each year.  And seriously, the amount of tape and analytics that these guys have really doesn't make a player's information all that needed.
