Brian McGhee, a former member of World Wrestling Entertainment, will be charged with first-degree murder for the stabbing death of a 25-year-old woman inside an apartment in Tampa, Fla. on Wednesday evening, according to a report Thursday morning from the Associated Press.

McGhee will not be booked until he recovers from injuries sustained in a car crash while fleeing authorities late Wednesday night. He was taken into custody shortly after crashing the vehicle north of downtown Tampa in Pasco County.

According to the report, citing the Hillsborough County Sheriff, deputies were called to an apartment complex at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday evening and found that the woman, Bianca McGaughey, had been stabbed several times. She was pronounced dead at the scene and police immediately named McGhee a suspect but he fled authorities by car before crashing the vehicle outside downtown Tampa. At approximately 9:30 p.m., a photo showing a bloody leg or arm was made the main Facebook photo for a profile under McGhee’s name.

McGhee had previously lived in St. Louis, Mo., and was known in the WWE as “The Future” Donovan Roddick and DT Porter. According to his Facebook page, McGhee was a member of the WWE from 2010 to 2012 and previously worked as an assistant manager at Cash America from 2007 to 2010.

His wrestling bio reads:

“Once the oppressed, DT is the one now doing the enforcing. Determined to take out all of his childhood pain and torment out on the bodies of his opposition, DT lacks mercy, and will deliver great anger and furious vengeance on any who stand in his way.”

The only thing this person was in WWE--is what is known as a "jobber".   A jobber's role in the wrestling industry is to essentially be cannon fodder for either the "name" stars..or for some up and coming new talent.

They get pummeled around the ring, maybe get a shot or two in themselves to make it look "good" and then when the time comes--get pinned quickly.

He probably only worked extremely sparingly during the course of those two years--wrestling in what are known as "dark" matches--which are warm up matches that are not televised to get the crowd involved before WWE RAW goes live or before a WWE PPV starts.

These guys get paid next to nothing--likely making 500 bucks or less for each match.   These guys are usually brought in from small independent wrestling organizations that run in these areas.  When WWE comes into town--these organizations send their people in to be the "jobbers" that night.

I feel sad that they posted this pic of him with an innocent little kid, a minor, for that fact! Feel sad for her, victim, and this guy!

WWE is not real! FAKE NAMES, fake bios, hence fake mottoes and fake settles to score! WOW!

Once oppressed?  Oh lord... guess that means get out there and murder somebody.  The mind numbing idiocy that resides in some people is truly disturbing.  Zero grasp of reality and such a heightened sense of narcissism that the only oppression is his perception of his own oppression.  Yeah looking highly oppressed in that toy car with the kid.

"If I had a son, he would have the moral fiber of Brian McGhee."

That picture goes with the story like Krusty the Clown directing an Alfred Hitchcck movie.

Well done.

I would not be shocked if Vince McMahon was not trying to bring him back while he is on bail. That guy will do anything for attention.

If the woman was black it doesn't really matter that much.?  Does it?

Well, not many people know wrestlers' real names, this might help readers who watch wrestling know who the hell this guy is.

I'm not sure what printing the fictional biography of a CHARACTER he played is supposed to prove. It doesn't matter if he was playing Big Bird or Hannibal Lecter: he's a murder suspect.

Yah that photo looks like a real killer. For Once the Media shows a little respect and puts up a decent pic of the accused.

@hawkcr1

Quit trying to impress people with your knowledge of wrestling.  He was not a jobber as he was in WWE developmental.  WWE has not used jobbers like you describe since the Monday Night Wars era.

@Bompsay8 Wow, and you're just now figuring out wrestling is a work of fiction?  So is Game of Thrones, Dexter, Mad Men, American Horror Story.  Next thing you'll be telling us its the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause aren't real.

@GT500456 there's a loser in every comment board that uses his time to not comment on the article, but try to be funny by linking it to his hatred for Obama...and today that loser is you.

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic but you do realize they put a pic of him while he's in a toy police car. Not sure if the pic is meant to mock him either but that's a pretty stupid picture nonetheless. Honest question though, what would be considered a "decent" picture for a person that was accused of murder?

@Drew6 @Bompsay8 If you read the comment prior to mine, you can see THAT one was in regards to the "oppression" portion of his "bio"----hence MY comment. Very observant of you! Thanks for letting me know! And all this time I really thought it was REAL!

@GT500456 Sounds like GT500456 has NO MORAL FIBER, not much to speak of, that is, after making that sad remark!

@MartWarren @john15  Why is it ok of blacks to be racist and not white not you or your parents or grandparents were slaves so why is ok for one and not the other

@mugzbo I"m a big fan of innocent until proven guilty and anything that doesn't try to portray him has a thug or showing a mugshot.

@JamesMartin @mugzbo Hey, I believe any suspect is innocent until proven guilty too unless you're Aaron Hernandez when you seamlessly set yourself up to be caught with the evidence laid out for the prosecution. I'm still not sure if the picture, albeit an "innocent looking" one, accompanying an article where the accusation is murder will have any effect on someone's opinion.
