The San Antonio Spurs and guard Manu Ginobili have agreed to terms on a two-year deal, Ginobili announced on Twitter on Wednesday. Details of the contract agreement have yet to be disclosed.

Ginobili said he was “thrilled” to be returning to the only NBA team he has played for in his 11-year career. Ginobili, 35, scored 11.8 points-per-game on 42.5 percent shooting last season for the Spurs in 60 games off the bench.

The defending Western Conference champion Spurs re-sign Ginobili, 35, to what could be his last NBA deal before retiring. Ginobili was selected with the 57th overall pick in the 1999 draft by the Spurs. He has averaged 14.9 points-per-game with 3.9 rebounds and four assists-per-game over 11 seasons with the Spurs.

He is a legendary Spur, but I sure hope they signed him for the minimum amount of money they could resign a veteran for, because he no longer is a major factor on this team.

@6marK6 I'm guessing he probably signed for $5 million a year for 2 years (10 Mil total) or a mil or 2 more. I'm not sure what the NBA minimum is for someone with his years in the League but the Spurs wouldn't insult himand offer the rock bottom minimum. He might rebound and have a good year next year, and be a major factor on the team if he stays injury free, who knows?
