Former Los Angeles Clippers head coach Vinny Del Negro will interview for the vacant Denver Nuggets head coaching job, according to Yahoo! reporter Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Nuggets have interviewed former Memphis Grizzlies coach Lionel Hollins and Indiana Pacers assistant coach Brian Shaw after firing NBA Coach of the Year George Karl.

Del Negro, 46, led the Clippers to their highest win total in franchise history with 56 victories in the regular season. In five seasons as head coach of the Clippers and Chicago Bulls, Del Negro has compiled a 210-184 record while reaching the playoffs four times.

So, you fire George Karl who just won 57 games with Ty Lawson and Andre Iguodala as his best players. Now, you want to replace him with Vinny Del Negro? I'm speechless.

There is no way the Nuggets can actually be thinking about this move. You would have a rebellion with your fan base. I was not a George Karl fan, but he looks like Phil Jackson and Red Auerbach compared to Del Negro.
