Linebacker Desmond Bishop will reportedly meet with the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday, the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday and could even meet with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the coming days, according to media reports. The news Tuesday comes 24 hours after Bishop was released by the Packers, the team he’s been with since being selected by Green Bay in the 2007 NFL Draft.

NFL.com reporter Ian Rapoport tweeted Tuesday morning that Bishop, who turns 29 next month, does in fact have meetings with the Vikings and Chiefs this week, and Mike Florio of NBC Sports reported Tuesday that the Jaguars are also in the mix.

The 2011 Super Bowl Champion was placed on the injured reserve last summer after sustaining an injury to his hamstring during a preseason game vs. the San Diego Chargers. The Packers had re-signed Bishop to a four-year, $19 million deal in January 2011 and now it appears he could be on the verge of another deal.
