Seattle Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner took exception to recent comments San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh made when he was asked about the Seahawks suspensions stemming from players using performance enhancing drugs. Harbaugh said players should “play by the rules” and that his own players using performance enhancing drugs will not be accepted by him.

Browner, who spoke to Sports Radio KJR, said he would “put his hands around” Harbaugh’s neck if Harbaugh was a player in the league.

“I don’t have anything for it,” Browner said. “At the end of the day we gotta win football games. He’s a coach. He’s never gonna be out there lined up against me. I wish he would; I’d put my hands around his neck. At the end of the day, I’m about winning football games.”

Browner was suspended in November 2012 after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs. He missed the Seahawks final four regular season games.

Thank God we have professional sports keeping a lot of these guys off the streets. Otherwise many of them would probably be in prison.

Have you noticed that every team that Pete Carroll coaches is replete with cheaters who refuse to play by the rules and bottom feeders who speak without thinking. .  What does that say about Carroll?

Thanks to dr.marnish@yahoo.com for his wonderful work, My girlfriend left a week before our vacation to be with another man. I was desperate to get her back when I found dr.marnish. I tried 5 other people to do a spell to get her back and nothing worked. I was still alone. Then I found dr.marnish by accident. I don’t know how I found him, I don’t remember. But, when I first saw the good testimonies about his wonderful work and after reading the Testimonies, I decided I had to try and give it one last shot. After my spells, I got a text from my lover. And we started going back and forth by text, she asked to meet the next day. So we did, and that night we ended up sleeping together, and about a few days after we got back together. anyone who needs help, should email dr.marnish. He is the best.

In other words, he's a cheater who resents being told to win clean, right?

This coming from Harbaugh? Police your own backyard. This is a classy coach ask Pete Carroll or  Jim Schwartz.

Well all of you must be 49er homers. This jack off coach who was never very good anyhow spouts off way too much. He thinks he's the only 6-3 tough guy. But in reality the bitch was a QB.

Way to overreact Browner......anyone sense that he might be having some 'roid rage???

Browner is a cheating thug like several of his low-character teammates; the facts don't like!

Mike26
Mike26

Carroll was oblivious to the cheating under his nose at USC and fled town as soon as the cavalry arrived; in the NFL, they don't play and he's stuck with his cheaters because there's no where else to run to...

So, does this mean that after I call off from work tomorrow, when I come back and my boss calls me out on not showing up, I get to choke him out too?

Gosh, I was thinking the same darn thing. How dare a coach suggest that athletes follow the rules. Imagine it - NO CHEATING! Are you kidding me? Yup, I want to put my hands around the neck of anyone that would say such a thing.

What an ignorant little punk this jack-off is. If Roger Goodell had any honor left, which he doesn't, he should suspend this moron. Browner is an embarrassment to the NFL.

You have to love the gang banger thug mentality of so many of today's professional athletes. They are real role models for other African Americans....NOT!

This punk should be suspended for a season. In what other profession can you make threats of violence against a co-worker without being fired?

Let's see how the future plays out. Harbaugh has one. Browner is limited.

Jim Harbaugh would slap the hell out of Browner and make him cry. Harbaugh is tough as they come. ask around.

Well Mr. Browner, Jim Harbaugh coached his team in the Super Bowl. How did it feel to watch the Super Bowl from your 100' flat panel? Don't talk to us about winning football games when your team wasn't even good enough to play in your sports biggest game.

U Know I'm Right

Just another thug giving the NFL a bad name.  They should ban him entirely from ever playing agian.

Maybe one of your homey "friends" will put a .38 through your skull some day and you will have a moment of clarity with your thoughts in that final second.  Attitude is everything and a win at all cost attitude is a poor excuse for an attitude.

Mr. Browner needs to learn how to convey a clear thought and opinion. My 5 year old knows how to explain her thoughts better. Also, anybody that threatens violence to prove his point is a person that has very little self respect.

Hey Pete, take control of your players! If you don't, I bet Mr. Allen will.

If its all about the winning, It's hard to win a football game, if you're not playing in it be ause of suspension.

@roobn67 Lol, Jim Harbaugh was always one of the toughest guys on the field when he played. Clearly you have never seen footage of this guy.

I feel the need to reply to my own comment to assure you all that my first paragraph was facetious. I feel the need to point that out because of some of the overwhelmingly ignorant comments that seem to suggest that Browner makes sense here. I know I shouldn't be surprised, but I can't help but be so.

@WilyCoyoteSuperGeniusGang Banger thug? Have you ever met Browner? Do you have any reason besides an out of context quote to believe hes a thug, never mind a gang banger? did you even listen to the interview?...the interviewer tells Browner that Harbaugh insinuated that Seahawks players had been taking something (steroids) instead of aderall. When Browner says id put my hands around his neck, the interviewer breaks out laughing. Its all very light. He didn't say it at all as a threat. Threats of violence? Football is a sport of violence. Its so violent that players get knocked out and regulary concussed. So actual violence is fine, but a joking, hypothetical "threat"of violence requires a year long suspension? And other jobs dont require you to be violent, as football does. Your really going to compare sitting at a desk with a profession like football, which requires many of its employees to physically harm other employees?

ChickenWolf
ChickenWolf

@joeshine730 would it be better if he were a low life from a good neighbourhood? But i agree...i hate people whose parents dont have enough money to live in a neighbourhood not considered a ghetto. That makes sense, right?

@Rickapolis I thought your second paragraph was facetious. Why should Goodell suspend Browner? Just because someone says something you don't like (or something stupid, which Browner did in this case) doesn't mean the idiot should be suspended.

There are lots of idiots who say things I don't like, and things I think are stupid. That's a part of life. I'd never argue a man should be suspended or fired from his job simply for running his mouth.

Theo

@ITATTRACTS @timmottly1 Yes, because of the idiocy. Your comment however is as stale as your breath. Please don't vote.

@Theo @A1 See that is a big difference between him and me, it would have to be one of his friends that would have to do it.  I have enough wisdom to know that hanging out with that crowd may be exciting for a while and i may be feared or "respected", but there is a  lot more to life than that ... I hope Browner grows up enough that he will be able to experience the better parts of life ... the parts that money and fame can't buy.

@Kp @Rickapolis "I'd never argue a man should be suspended or fired from his job simply for running his mouth."

I would.  In a professional setting, if I told a boss (publicly, in front of everybody mind you) that I wanted to choke him, I would suspect that I would be suspended at the least.

There really is no debate about this frankly.  The guy cheated, he got caught, and when somebody told him that he shouldn't cheat, he got pissed.  That's how 2 year olds act.
