Embattled Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent has tested positive for marijuana, according to prosecutors.

Brent was out on bond after being charged with intoxication manslaughter in the Dec. 8 car crash that killed friend and Cowboys practice player Jerry Brown. Police reported Brent was driving with a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal limit in Texas.

A judge recently ordered more monitoring for Brent until his trial begins in the fall.

The prohibition of marijuana will look to future generations as one of the stupidest legacies of our time.  It is specially absurd in the PED tainted world of sports because it is the one efffing prohibited drug that is NOT performance enhancing.  it is just plain stupid persecution, like witch hunts of the past.

I agree that it's a stupid law. However, even if it was legal, it's INCREDIBLY stupid to use anything while awaiting trial for manslaughter. Unless, you've already resigned yourself to the fact that you're going to prison for many years. If that's the case, light up while you can!

who says you can not teach an old dog new tricks.  heck, now we have the brother trained to go fetch pot but have not trained him not to smoke it on the way to the 7-11 for big bites and nachos to go with that six pack of mad dog.
