Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn had to submit to an on-the-spot drug test Monday night by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency while attending a fashion show in New York.

According to a report Wednesday afternoon from the Associated Press, the World Cup alpine race skiier, currently training for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, was at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards in Lincoln Center on June 3 when she was escorted by testing officials with the United States Anti-Doping Agency to a restroom at the venue for a urine test. The sample was then sent to a lab and the results are not immediately available. All Olympic athletes have to agree to random testing and they are required to notify the USADA of their location at all times. Vonn’s spokesman, Lewis Kay, said in an e-mail to the AP on Wednesday that Vonn was fine with the drug test, adding, “she understands it is part of the job.”

Earlier this year in March, Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins had an NFL representative show up to his grandmother’s house to issue him an on-the-spot drug test. Cousins, who passed the test, later tweeted, “I’m all for a clean game but weird having a stranger watch u in your own bathroom.”

THERE SHOULD BE SOME LIMITATIONS ON WHEN SAMPLE CAN BE COLLECTED. IF YOU'RE OUT AT AN EVENT OR AN ESTABLISHMENT THEN THOSE FOLKS SHOULD WAIT UNTIL SUBJECT GOES HOME OR TO A PLACE LESS CONSPICUOUS.

I guess they would assume that she would have to be on drugs in order to go out with a sleazeball like Woods.

Your reply doesn't even make sense.  You are saying I am bashing him but then you state I have a man crush?  If you are going to bother posting a reply, at least think it through.

She is 28 and he is 37.  Not to mention he has a significant history of infidelity (among other things).  I just don't see why she would go for Woods, it seems she could do a lot better.

@doghockey @MattCH Nope.  I don't like him and a hate golf.  It's a boring "sport" and the greens are waste of natural resources.  Keep trying and keep failing puppyhockey

@MattCH Like boys on a playground who swear they hate girls but tease them incessantly as a way to stay close because the hate is really a crush, you guys simply cannot resist talking about TW, even in an article that is not about him.  Yes, man crush.

@doghockey @MattCH Why would he need to resist?  I was thinking the same thing.  Man crush? Maybe you have it.

She's taller than he is?

@JimKirkwood1 Not according to Google. Vonn is 5' 10" and Tiger is 6'1". She was probably wearing some wicked heels... but, that is exactly what I thought at first too. Not the most flattering picture either, for either of them. Vonn looks kind of like the Joker and Tiger looks like a drug addict.

She is clearlySitting on his lap

@Michael50 @JimKirkwood1 If you look at the people behind them, it is apparent that the photo was taken on a staircase. Vonn probably did wear heels, but was also standing on the step above Tiger. And the photog caught them laughing, which often isn't exactly the pose you want to strike for the paparazzi.

@JimKirkwood1 She's also more athletic than he is, really.

World-class alpine skiing requires quite a bit more overall athleticism than golf, which ultimately is just a skill-game that doesn't really require any exceptional stamina, strength, etc.
