Jay-Z’s agency is reportedly on the verge of scoring its next big client — Philadelphia Eagles star DeSean Jackson.

One day after parting ways with NFL super-agent Drew Rosenhaus, Jackson is considering signing with Roc Nation Sports, according to reports in USA Today and The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Roc Nation Sports, which formed at the beginning of April, has been gobbling up high-profile clients. The firm already represents New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith, New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano and the WNBA’s Skylar Diggins.

When Smith signed on, though, it wasn’t without controversy. The NFL Players Association plans to “aggressively pursue” an investigation into Roc Nation’s recruitment of Smith to see if Jay-Z was involved at all.

According to league rules, Jackson needs to wait five days after filing paperwork with the NFLPA before he can start auditioning other agents. Jackson signed a five-year, $47 million deal with the Eagles in 2012. But that contract includes little guaranteed money after next season, and he could be looking for a new contract.

Jackson’s publicist took to Twitter to deny rumors of his possible move to Roc Nation:

Where are his other than black athletes?

@Yeep  I don't think it's a black thing... It's more like the best athlete thing. Slow down, It's a brand new agency. He's only got like 4 and a maybe athletes signed already. I'm sure he'll sign a white athlete as soon as he sees one worthy. Lolz.... It's funny how other people never get called out for playing the race card.
