It’s been a month of big changes for the Dallas Stars. The team has fired general manager Joe Nieuwendyk and coach Glen Gulutzan, and replaced Nieuwendyk with longtime Red Wings assistant GM Jim Nill. Second-year owner Tom Gaglardi has also ordered changes to the team’s logo and uniforms. While the Stars have been preparing to officially unveil a new logo on June 4, websites may have found the team’s new scheme ahead of time, already adorning a team mobile app.

Several websites include Hockey’s Future Boards, Icethetics and Puck Daddy have posted the alleged new marks.

DefendingBigD reports sources have said the circular logo will appear on the team’s sleeves, while a larger “D” logo on top of a new stylized star will be the new official logo on the front of their new sweaters. The team may also be shifting from kelly green and gold to a new shade of green and silver, while maintaining black as a major color.

On Friday, the Stars would neither confirm nor deny that the app displayed their new logo, and reiterated they will make their official announcement on June 4.
