Pacers center Roy Hibbert accused Heat forward Shane Battier of playing dirty via his Twitter account in Miami’s 103-102 win in Game 1 on Wednesday night.

Hibbert and several of his Pacers teammates appeared upset by the physical play of Battier and other Heat players. Tyler Hansbrough and Battier were involved in a scuffle after wrestling for a loose ball in the first half. The Heat’s Chris Andersen was given a technical foul after pushing Hansbrough away. Hansbrough was later called for a rebounding foul after Battier appeared to throw an elbow. The Pacers also argued that Heat guard Norris Cole deserved a technical foul when he swung his arm between forward David West’s legs.

Hibbert’s reference may have included Battier’s knee striking Hibbert in the groin on a drive to the rim in the first quarter. Battier was whistled for an offensive foul. The play resulted with Hibbert on the floor.

Just the normal in-series posturing by these guys... yawn.

It's not fair.  Battier can hit Pacers guys in the balls and throw them off their game, but they can't do it in return cause he's got a vag.

Miami is the biggest group of pretenders in the league. The Pacers would be fine with hard fouls but when you start targeting the groin area then it goes to far. Shots below the waist aren't even allowed in boxing.

Reports are that Hibbert has in fact already told his mommy.

Twitter. Quite possibly the worst invention of all time.

Hibbert's the biggest guy on the floor! What a whiner. Battier's gotten in to your head, Roy, and now he's going to own you.

It's called playoff basketball, Roy. Plays like that were routine in the 80s and 90s. Everyone would die laughing at you for those comments if you played in that era.

Wow, has the league changed. Back in the day, you corrected the behavior on the court with an elbow or hard foul, you freaking acted like a man on the court. By crying to the media you have just told the refs to watch out for any retaliation you might take. And come on Hibbert, you are a lot bigger than he is! Plus, you went to G-Town and he is a Dukie! Disgraceful.
