Report: José Mourinho leaving Real Madrid after last game of season

Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, will announce that head coach José Mourinho will leave the club after the last game of the season.

It has been rumored that Mourinho, 50, could return to Chelsea after leaving Madrid. Mourinho managed Chelsea from 2004-07.

Mourinho joined Madrid in 2010. He signed a contract with Madrid last summer that would have kept him with the squad until 2016. Mourinho joined Madrid after coaching Inter Milan.

Real Madrid just fell in the Copa del Rey final to crosstown rival Atlético Madrid on Friday.

I wonder how the Chelsea players feel about all this. He does not seem to engender much love from the athletes he coaches.

Madrid needs to show him the door, his heart is not in it and he has underachieved with the talent he has been given. Just don't like that Madrid is going to have to buyout his contract, especially after he purposely set out to get fired. I will not argue that he has accomplished great things with other squads, but he did not get near enough out the talent he had here and he showed no loyalty and respect for Madrid and its traditions.
