Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich likely to miss Game 4
Chicago Bulls forward Luol Deng and guard Kirk Hinrich are “most likely out” for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Miami Heat, head coach Tom Thibodeau said on Monday. Hinrich sustained a calf injury after playing 60 minutes in Game 4 of the Bulls first-round matchup against the Brooklyn Nets. Thibodeau said Hinrich is doing exercises on a stationary bike and has been shooting around in practice. This will be the seventh game in a row Hinrich has missed with the injury.
Deng will also be out for Game 4 as he is still recovering from complications from a spinal tap last week. Deng attempted practicing with the team but had to stop every few minutes to vomit. Thibodeau said Deng is also likely out for Game 4.
The Bulls are down 2-1 to the Miami Heat with Game 4 in Chicago on Monday.
Same story out of Bulls practice: No reason to expect either Luol Deng or Kirk Hinrich tonight (and, of course, no Derrick Rose)—
