Sergio Garcia is upset with Tiger Woods, telling NBC during a weather delay at the Players Championship on Saturday that Woods may have caused him to hit a bad shot at the par-5 second hole during their round together.

Garcia blocked his second shot to the right and bogeyed the hole.

In a replay, Garcia looks as if he is bothered or distracted by crowd noise. He thought Woods, might have pulled a club when he was in his backswing to get the crowd to react. Woods, at the time, was across the fairway from Garcia.

“Well, obviously Tiger was on the left and it was my shot to hit. He moved all the crowd that he needed to move, I waited for that. I wouldn’t say he didn’t see that I was ready but you do have a feel when the other guy is going to hit. Right as I was on top of the backswing he pulled a 5-wood or 3-wood out of the rough and obviously everybody started screaming so that didn’t help very much,” Garcia said to NBC, via CBSSports.com.

Garcia and Woods are one shot back of leader Henrik Stenson at 10-under par after play was suspended on Saturday.

I really like Sergio....BUT commooon, don't be a cry baby...I can't ever recall Kobe Bryant blame the fans for him missing a free throw.. Golf Players, need to be man up and stop with this kind of whyning attitudes. If you are a "Professional" then act like one and don't blame every little distraction that comes your way.

Garcia must be a leftist liberal progressive, as all they can do is blame someone else for there own failures. Man up and just say I screwed up on that shot.

And we wonder why the children of this generation are growing up to be useless robots in a country that does not take responsibility for there own mistakes.

Tiger said " Im not surprised he's complaining about something..." Gimme a Break! Eldrick  Woods would come unglued if that happened to him. Well, as long as he has Lindsay Vonn holding his "Drink", lol, he should be ok. Gotta pay that Child support! Go get em Tigrrrrr! lol

What a wimp!!!  Golf is not a sport. As Mark Twain said: "it's a good walk ruined."  These six bozos act like the concentration required for golf is unique.  Try throwing a 30 yard pass to a wide receiver with 60,000 scream fans and at least six guys trying to do you serious damage.  Or how about trying to get a puck into a net about twice the size of a bushel basket inside an arena with acoustics like the inside of a base drum and at least two other skaters about to cream you at twenty mile per hour.  Until golfers learn to take the noise and distractions like every other sport, they will continue to be nothing more than pampered, cart-riding, self-centered, prima donna wannabees.

@Raven What a sad attempt to infuse politics into sports.  Agenda much?

Get over it ! Tiger Woods is one of the greatest golfers there ever was.

You must not play golf.

In football and hockey, you are reacting to what the other people on the field are doing. You have  almost no time to think, you are reacting to the action on the field.

In golf, you hit each shot on your own volition. You have all the time in the world to think. It's a different kind of test, but it is no less challenging than football or hockey. The dead silence of hitting a crucial shot to win a tournament is just as demanding as the noise and distractions of hockey or football.

And as far as these pampered, self-centered, prima donnas - for every stuck-up, annoying, and wimpy professional golfer, there is an NFL wide receiver who things he is the most important figure in the history of sports.

Sorry! That should read " These sick, sorry bozos..."  and that should be bass drum, not base.

@oasisu2killers Wrong on everything except the last statement. But this is the world we create for these pampered better than thou sports figures. I think all of the sports figures are nothing but a bunch of ignorant morons who could do nothing else in life but waste our time showing how they can master something that will do nothing for man-kind except create moron's who think they are important to us.
