Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams filed a lawsuit against his ex-fiancée Erin Marzouki in Houston on Monday for a $785,000 engagement ring. The ring is a GIA certified radiant cut diamond weighing 10.04 carats. The lawsuit also alleges that Marzouki charged $108,000 between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012 on Williams’ American Express card. Williams also claims that “additional luxurious items” were purchased to the tune of $230,000.

According to CourtHouseNews.com, Williams is also asking for a restraining order and a writ of sequestration to stop Marzouki from selling the ring.

“The termination of the relationship was solely caused by defendant,” the complaint states. “Defendant never intended to marry plaintiff and used the relationship as a means to get to plaintiff’s money and acquire gifts. Defendant has absconded with the diamond engagement ring. Plaintiff has demanded that defendant return the diamond engagement ring, but defendant has failed and refused to do so.”

He should sue himself for being an idiot. Who buys anybody, including themselves, a ring like that?

a scum bag, always a scum bag. mario, the poon was better than the toon, eh?! so many young people are very easily scammed because both think material trumps real. for college grad, to miss the signs of eve(l), biblical name, the real one, is just plain stupid. she is the same as when you 1st met, nothing changed. you need to have your cashdar on at all times. you have bank, dude. she looks at all men as an atm!! take her to the frigging cleaners. if you can haul her greedy butt to jail. prison may or may not do her some good, but at least she will be out of your pocket. in fact, take your anger for her out on all your opponents this year!! GO BILLS!!

A ring is a promise of marriage.  If she called off the engagement, she has to return the ring.  She can only keep it if Williams doesn't ask for it back aka abandons it.  The ring should be a slam dunk.  The rest of it could be considered a gift.
