Browns linebacker Quentin Groves arrested for solicitation

NFL

Cleveland Browns linebacker Quentin Groves was arrested last Wednesday for solicitation, the Cleveland Plain Dealer‘s Mary Kay Cabot reports on Twitter.

Groves’ arrest came after he allegedly responded to an ad that appeared to be from a prostitute but was really part of a police operation. Groves allegedly agreed to pay for sex in a phone call before he went to a hotel, where he was arrested. He was reportedly one of 14 men arrested during the three-day sting.

The linebacker signed a two-year, $2.8 million deal with the Browns in March. He started seven games for the Cardinals last season.
