New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul said he wasn’t happy about how last year went, from the team finishing 9-7 to his 6.5 sacks recorded, down 10 from the previous season.

Pierre-Paul was a first team All-Pro selection in 2011 when the Giants won the Super Bowl. He ended up with 43 tackles, one interception and one fumble recovery last season.

Pierre-Paul also said that teams around the league have yet to see his unlimited potential.

“We can’t B.S. around this year,” Pierre-Paul said to the Star-Ledger. “The falling down, and going up, that sucks, you know what I mean? Because it’s like every year it happens. Every year.”

“I’m trying to be a better player than I was last year and I know my team needs me. They will definitely need me this year with Osi gone, and I have big shoes to fill.”

“People would look and say Jason Pierre-Paul is one of the good players in the NFL right now, but right now, I think I can do better,” he said. “They haven’t seen nothing yet, trust me. When I say they haven’t seen nothing, they haven’t seen nothing yet.”
