Milwaukee Brewers’ third baseman Aramis Ramirez leaves game with left knee sprain
Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Aramis Ramirez left Friday night’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks after sliding into 2nd base in the fifth inning. The initial diagnosis of Ramirez’s injury is classified as a “left knee sprain.”
Ramirez dealt with a similar injury during Spring Training before aggravating the injury Friday night. Ramirez attempted to stretch a single into a double when his leg extended into the second base bag.
The 16-year veteran hit 27 home runs and drove in 105 runs in his first year in Milwaukee in 2012.
