Report: Nnamdi Asomugha agrees to deal with 49ers

NFL

Nnamdi Asomugha has agreed to a one-year deal with the 49ers without any guaranteed money, according to ESPN.com’s Adam Schefter

The cornerback will be paid $1.35 million in base salary in 2013.

Asomugha found himself without a team after the Eagles released him two years after signing him as one of the NFL’s most sought after free agents. Asomugha was scheduled to make $15 million this season, including $4 million guaranteed as part of the five-year, $60 million deal he signed with the Eagles in 2011.

Nnamdi is looking for a SB ring, and very well could get one in 2013.  The 49ers are loaded at every position.

Got to get by the Seahawks first.

@island_guy67 I think that the 49ers are better than the Seahawks.

@island_guy67  @John4 Other way around- Niners are the 2 time defending NFC West champs, been in the NFC title game last 2 years and Super Bowl last year. People should be saying that the Seahawks need to get past the Niners first before earning all their praise, not that the Niners have to prove themselves against the Hawks.
