Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones re-signs with Bengals
Adam “Pacman” Jones announced via Twitter on Thursday morning that he has signed a three-year contract extension to remain with the Cincinnati Bengals.
He is one of six cornerbacks from the 2005 NFL Draft class signed with a team. Jones, 29, didn’t record an interception last season and had just 33 tackles but is still coming off of arguably his best year since 2006. For the first time in his career, he appeared in all 16 games last season and allowed a reception every 6.3 targets that went in his direction for the 600 snaps in which he was involved.
He has also worked to shed his bad-boy image, moving forward from the legal troubles he faced in 2007 and 2009 that caused him to sit out two NFL seasons.
