Kobe Bryant out tonight against Phoenix, listed as day-to-day
Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant is going to miss tonight’s game against Phoenix and is listed as day-to-day, according to a Lakers spokesman. Bryant injured his ankle last week after landing on Atlanta Hawks guard Dahntay Jones while attempting a fadeaway jumper. Bryant called the play “dangerous” and the NBA later said a foul should’ve been called on the play.
Bryant attempted to play against the Indiana Pacers on Friday but only logged 12 minutes and went 0-4 from the field. Following the game against the Suns tonight, the Lakers will get three days off before they play again at home against the Washington Wizards. The Lakers are 2-0 since Bryant injured his ankle.
