The New York Giants have found their replacement at tight end after last year’s starter Martellus Bennett signed with the Chicago Bears earlier this week.

The Giants and tight end Brandon Myers agreed to a deal on Saturday, according to USA Today’s Mike Garafolo. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Myers, 27, had a breakout campaign in 2012 with career-highs of 79 catches for 806 yards and scored the first four touchdowns of his career in starting all 16 games last season with the Oakland Raiders.

Myers, a four-year veteran, has 111 catches for 1,056 yards in his career.

great signing! wish my skins would have jumped to it. hes not an athletic slot type tight end like davis or henandez, hes more in the witten or back in the day cooley. enough athleticism to make the play, great hands security blanket, and an able blocker. i want one !
