The Arizona Cardinals signed free-agent kick returner/wide receiver Joshua Cribbs on Wednesday, reports the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Cribbs, a three-time Pro Bowler, played the last eight seasons with the Cleveland Browns, where he established himself as one of the league’s most dangerous kick returners.
The New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots were all reportedly interested in Cribbs. Cribbs has returned eight kickoffs back for touchdowns in his career, which ties an NFL record, but has not returned one for a score in three seasons.
“It’s been a blessing to be in Cleveland, wishing the best to the city & the Team. If I could stay I would.,” Cribbs posted on his Instagram account.

the cardinals...really, josh? you don't want play for the patriots? really...josh?
@LeilaniHernandez He's not reading this, dunce.
So Cribbs goes from one NFL "have-not" to another. Why even bother?
@John4 ...and the last time the Browns were in a Super Bowl was...when?
@AZ1 AZ1 - I'm sorry, you're right. The Cardinals are not an NFL have-not. I stand corrected.
