Corey Perry receives four-game suspension for hit on Jason Zucker

The NHL has dealt Ducks forward Corey Perry a four-game suspension for his hit on Wild forward Jason Zucker Tuesday night.
Zucker needed help off the ice after Perry dipped his shoulder and elbowed him in the head in the second period of the game. Zucker remained on the ice for about five minutes.
Perry was given a major penalty for interference and was ejected.
Zucker tweeted his thanks to concerned fans Wednesday.
Thanks to everyone for the get well texts and tweets, I appreciate the support! I am doing better today and hope to be playing soon! #MNWild—

This seems way too much. Earlier this year, Cam Fowler was run down by Jared Stoll and concussed from the behind, smashing his head into the boards at the corner...no hearing, Fowler out for over a week. Palmeri was recently concussed by R. Torres in a very similar hit the one Perry gave Zucker...no hearing, Palmeri still out with a concussion. Now to have the NHL use Rob Blake (of all people) to describe how "almost a full second after the puck was gone" warrants FOUR games?! The NHL has NO credibility and we're back to the Colon Campbell days of suspensions and league actions have overtones and suspicious application... Time for a new Comish and take Shanahan with him....
