WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley said Tuesday he received multiple death threats after beating Manny Pacquiao in a 12-round split decision last June.

Bradley snatched the belt from Pacquiao when two judges scored the bout 115–113 for Bradley and the other had the fight 115–113 in favor of Pacquiao.

“I didn’t get any credit after the Pacquiao fight whatsoever,” Bradley said, via USA Today. “People talked about me and my style, how boring (it is). Some people talked about my wife, talked about my kids. I’ve had some people send me death threats because I won. I had a lot of people say I should give the belt back.”

Bradley said he did not report the threats to authorities.

Bradley (29-0, 12 KOs) will defend his 147-pound title March 16 against Ruslan Provodnikov (22-1, 15 KOs) of Siberia. The bout is scheduled for 12 rounds and will be televised by HBO from The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif.

if you re-watch the fight without the sound (without the biased announcers gushing over glancing blows from Pac while marginalizing more forceful punches from Bradley that land more flush) you'll see the fight more clearly....

only from ignorant people....Pac was kicking Bradley's butt for 5 of the first 6 rounds...then Pac CLEARLY started to coast, expecting to win by decision...and while Pac was coasting, Bradley was landing more shots and winning rounds...Bradley CLEARLY won ALL 6 final rounds on points...YES, Pac COULD have easily won by trying just a little harder, by showing some killer instinct and a desire to finish the opponent, he probably could have stopped Bradley by the 8th...it wasn't a lack of ability on Pac's part...it was a lack of effort, a lack of understanding that he hadn't won the fight yet when he stopped fighting after the 6th....and because of that, Bradley won 7 rounds to 5

“I didn’t get any credit after the Pacquiao fight whatsoever,”   Maybe that's because on most cards you lost by 6 rounds?

@djm4672 And if you are going to insult Bradley, then the question remains why is Pacquiao fighting a fighter of that caliber if he is so great. Personally I think Bradley is a decent boxer, and he just doesnt get the respect he deserves.

@djm4672 Timothy Bradley has an undefeated pro record. You shouldnt slander if you don't know the facts.
