NFL Most Valuable Player Adrian Peterson has weighed in on speculation concerning teammate Percy Harvin’s future with the Vikings.

Peterson told a KFAN-FM audience Tuesday there’s no way he’d trade Harvin if it was his decision.

Peterson stated his preference in the wake of reports that both sides are preparing drastic action. The Vikings are expected to attempt to trade Harvin, according to Mike Max of WCCO in Minneapolis. If Harvin is not traded or offered a new Vikings contract, he reportedly is likely to be a holdout.

The 24-year-old receiver led the NFL in total yards before he badly sprained an ankle in Week 10 last season. He requested a trade last June, and could be a valuable trade tool if the Vikings decided

“To be honest with you, I don’t know if we will or not. But me, individually, and giving you my opinion, I wouldn’t trade him for nothing,” Peterson said. “To do the the things that hes able to do, I don’t think there will be a player able to do it better than him. Ever.”

    I hate stupid people.

I wouldn't trade [X] for nothing. Yeah, unless [X] has a negative value why would anyone trade something for nothing?

Stupid people who can't put together a grammatically correct sentence to save their life.

FeliciaFitzgerald "Stupid people who can't put together a grammatically correct sentence to save their life." is a sentence fragment. Your grammar is appalling! Go AP!

I agree Adrian, I would not trade any player for nothing. I would expect something for them.
