The Minnesota Vikings are expected to attempt to trade embattled wide receiver Percy Harvin this offseason, according to a report from Mike Max of WCCO in Minneapolis.

The Vikings want to trade Harvin after a much-publicized incident in November, during which Harvin went on a tirade  against head coach Leslie Frazier. Max reported that teammates did not take kindly to the blowup from Harvin after directed a similar rant two years earlier at then-head coach Brad Childress.

Max reported that the feud between Harvin and Frazier was the reason Harvin was subsequently placed on injured reserve with ankle ailment that didn’t require surgery.

Since the incident between Harvin and Frazier, Harvin’s future with the team has been uncertain. Last month, quarterback Christian Ponder referred to Harvin in the past tense, saying in a radio interview that Harvin “was a good teammate.” General manager Rick Spielman was also non-committal when asked in a radio interview this week whether the team would keep Harvin in Minnesota.

“Percy Harvin is a member of this football team and he is a very good football player,” Spielman said, according to Pro Football Talk.  “We don’t like to get rid of good football players.”

Tim Tebow, the consummate teammate--and winner, can't get a break in the NFL...at least not yet.  Meanwhile, his old teammate, Percy Harvin, will end up making big bucks for one of many teams not as concerned about his past bad actions as much as what they see on tape.  The Bengals, Raiders, Jerry Jones', etc., will vie for his services.

How can a guy making so much money for so little play be unhappy?  Hell, do what the coach tells you to do and spend your off-time looking for a better answer to your migraine issue.

Brandon Lloyd was similarly cast as a cancer, yet he's thriving in NE.  Make Harvin a tailback in Tebow's backfield...hmmmm...are you listening, Raiders?

Why would any team want to keep a guy that doesn't want to be there in the first place?  I guess I'm just old-school.  I thought the coach ran the team and that if a player ever got in his face, he'd be out the door.  I can't imagine anyone doing that to Jimmy Johnson.  Or Bill Parcells.  Or Sean Payton.  Especially a player that's not contributing anything anyway.  There must (should) be some kind of clause in these players' contracts that says if a player does not fulfill his obigations to the team for non-football related reasons, that contract is null and void.  Everybody has a boss, someone he has to answer to.  And Percy Harvin's boss is Leslie Frazier.  Forget trading him.  I'd cut him.

I cannot blame Frazier. He is tired of Harvin's small body getting banged up in every game.

Percy Harvin is a main cancer on any team...He isn't worth the aggravation and babysitting...Hope he has a migraine that lasts the rest of his miserable life. Seriously.....I'd crunch his nutsack.

There are going to be a lot of talented receivers in the draft, I don't know how many teams are going to want to trade for Harvin. On the other, hand we need all the help we can get in Oakland.

I wonder how many wives, mothers and sisters would be pleased to know that some people consider calling a player a woman is the worst insult they can conceive. Really?  It's 2013.
