Lil Wayne claims the Heat kicked him out of a game; Heat claims he chose to leave

NBA

At 5:01 p.m. ET on Sunday evening, Lil Wayne tweeted that he had been kicked out of the Heat game, claiming the police made him leave because he was rooting for the Lakers.

“So I’m @ da Heat game right, rootin 4 da Lakers kuz dats my team & would u believe they got police 2 make me leave?! Wow!”

However, Heat spokeswoman Lorrie-Ann Diaz told USA TODAY Sports via e-mail that Lil Wayne was not kicked out, but chose to leave.

One fan at the game who was seated near the rapper tweeted that “Random guy yelled at Lil Wayne at #MiamiHeat game. Weezy looked back, gave him a mean stare & gestured he had a gun.” After that, Lil Wayne was kicked out for the gun gesture.

This isn’t the first time Lil Wayne has had issues with an NBA game. Last year, he cited racism when he was not permitted into a Western Conference finals game. Oklahoma City Thunder spokesman Dan Mahoney disagreed, saying the rapper didn’t have a ticket to the sold-out game.

Little Wayne is a fine role model for all the youth out there. With great examples such as himself, its great to see that kids these days have such fine individuals to look up to!

This man/woman is silly, lacks character, and narcissistic. Not to mention ignorant, woefully uneducated, and in my opinion a menace to society and particularly the African American community of which I am a member.

Our youth are choosing to reject education and positive traits for themselves while choosing gangs, guns, and dysfunction because of poisons like this man that steal money and attention from them. Our youth are killing each other and many others while idolizing this bad example of a man.

One day we will wake up as a society and stop idolizing scum like this dude. Our children are dying and people like him are contributing to the genocide. Bravo Pat Riley and Micky Arison for kicking this fool out of your (publicly funded) arena.

Go back to school and relearn your grammar.  And with that ejection, if the police did kick you out for cheering for the Lakers, why don't your rich bottom sue them and stop twitting your ghetto ebonic.

He comes across like he's about 8.  What is with his idiotic spelling?  Also, who goes to a Heat game and cheers for "da Lakers"?  What a tool.  Little Wayne - newsflash - it's not all about you.  Now pull your pants up!

What do you expect from a thug, the truth?  There's a difference in being kicked out of the game for threatening to shoot someone, which Lil Wayne was obviously trying to do, and rooting for the opposing team, which he claimed to be doing.  Just like there's a difference in not being permitted to attend a game without a ticket (go figure) and racism.  And this is yet another reason the racism claim is losing  its credibility.   It's being used to justify everything from murder to trying to get into a game without a ticket.  These guys live in their own little world and (try to) play by their own little rules.  Whenever their world and their rules collide with the real world and the real rules, things like this happen.  Hey, Lil Wayen, here's a little bit of advice.  Free of charge.  If you don't know how to act in public, stay at home.  No one really cares if you're there or not anyway.

Wonder if he auto-tuned his tweet.

So he's now had two incidents in which he's blaming somebody else for getting kicked out of a game.  I doubt this has occurred to a narcissist like this dope, but perhaps he's the problem, since he's the one constant here.

Is Lil Wayne significant enough to be in SI? Not....He's a punk who should been kicked to the curb a long time ago...I will do it for free....Can't Wait.

@hollywood1 Actually, make less music.  Like none at all.  His time is up.  Little Wayne - your 15 minutes of fame is long overdue.  Time to go.  Bye bye.

@bambambaby  @Guest2013 Ya! When has someone with a gun ever hurt anyone? Everyone knows that you have to assume its a joke when someone threatens you with a gun! Worst thing that could happen is you get shot. Its happened to me dozens of times. Nothing to worry about.
