Brooklyn Nets point guard Deron Williams will miss the next two games with inflammation in both ankles, the team announced on Twitter today.

Williams is suffering from synovitis in both right and left ankles, according to the team. Williams underwent platelet-rich plasma injections on Monday and is expected to miss the Nets’ next two games before the All-Star break, against the Indiana Pacers and Denver Nuggets.

Williams has started 50 games for the Nets this season, leading the team to a 29-22 record and a second-place standing in the Atlantic Division. Williams is averaging 16.7 points and 7.6 assists per game.
