March Madness just got a little louder.

Longtime sports analyst Dick Vitale, whose voice and charisma has become synonymous with college basketball, will make his debut as a broadcaster for the Final Four next month as part of ESPN’s international feed to 156 countries worldwide.

The news was reported by Michael Hiestand of USA Today Sports, citing ESPN executive vice-president John Wildhack, who called Vitale “one of the most important personalities” in the history of the network:

“In the history of ESPN, he’s one of our most-important personalities. … This is a reward and a thank you.”

According to the report, Vitale, 73, will do the broadcast with play-by-play commentator Brad Nessler for a semi-final game and the final NCAA championship game.
