Colts owner reportedly pays fan for predicting AFC Championship Game

Uncategorized

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay followed through with a promise to pay the first person to correctly predict the outcome and score of the AFC Championships Game, according to Deadspin.com.

A Colts fan named Jason told a Phish message board that he predicted Ravens 27, Patriots 13 — the actual score was 28-13 — but Irsay direct messaged him asking for his address. A FedEx package soon arrived with $8,500 in one-hundred-dollar bills.

Jason called Irsay “. . . the best owner in the NFL.”

I have a lot of respect for this owner and franchise. I live in Texas and I am a Texans fan. However, I like the Colts. If this were Jerry Jones's doing he'll send the person an ice cream cone for guessing the right answer.

Bravo Irsay! Man of your word and money well spent as I now have eyes for the Colts again. My eyes are worth money as you know to advertisers...
