Reports: Fan stabbed in neck after Falcons loss to 49ers

A fan was stabbed outside the Georgia Dome after the Atlanta Falcons lost in the NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers, according to multiple reports.
WSB-TV in Atlanta reported that a fan was stabbed in the neck and brought to a local hospital:
A witness told Channel 2′s Rachel Stockman a Falcons fan, who was upset about the team’s loss, began arguing with a 49ers backer in the silver lot outside Gate D. The argument turned violent when the Falcons fan punched the 49ers fan, who then pulled out a knife.
Fox 5 News in Atlanta reported that friends of the victim did not immediately have any update on his condition.
The station also tweeted pictures of police clearing the area outside the Georgia Dome where the incident occurred:

Too bad he didn't have a gun so he could cap the other guy's azz before he could get his knife out...

LikeNo, the falcon fan should not have been a sore loser, and no, you dont bring a knife so you that you can talk more trash than your chest can handle. But the last thing that this is about is Obama. How are you going to bring the president in this. Its that kind of ignorance and disrespect that started the fight in the first place.

LikeWhat the heck is wrong with these moronic people? It's a GAME. The sun will still rise tomorrow no matter who wins or loses. How stupid can you be to get into a fight over it that leads to punches that leads to a stabbing? I'm willing to bet that these idiots had more than their share of alcohol and probably did more drinking than watching. Grow up people or stop watching sports.

LikeThomas39 If that guy had been armed, he could have pulled his gun and not got stabbed, right. Then the guy with the knife could have pulled his gun, and then the rest of the 80,000 people who were there could have all pulled their guns and everybody could have started shooting at each other. Sounds like a nice family day at the stadium!

Hmmm, outlaw stupidity... According to Websters Stupidity means - "tediously dull, especially due to lack of meaning or sense; inane; pointless..."
I would say that your comment is a much better fit for the definition of "stupidity" than mine...
And the word "stupidity" definitely defines the actions of the President who wants to ban guns from law abiding citizens because a sick and deranged person stole one and used it on helpless people...
BTW, It also defines the actions of a football fan that throws a punch because he is offended by the comments of another football fan, and it definitely defines the actions of the fan who was hit by that punch to pull out a knife and slash the perpetrators throat with it.
So, in summary, there definitely is stupidity here, but of all the examples cited, I have demonstrated less of it than the guy who threw the punch, the guy who used the knife, the President who wants to ban guns, and of course you who can't appropriately assign the "stupidity" label.

I assume you mean "good common sense"??? Good common sense is when someone does or says something that would seem appropriate to a situation...
In this matter a fan got upset because his team was being ridiculed by the fan of the opposing team... He throws a punch at that fan (good common sense? Probably not)... Then, the fan who was punched, pulls a knife and slashes the throat of the guy who threw the punch (again, good common sense? I think not)...
So an upstanding citizen (such as myself) types out a sacastic message condemning the actions of both and comparing them to the thug who stole a gun and used it in Newtown, CT on helpless children and teachers... And carrying it over to the actions of a President who wants outlaw guns because of this random tragic act of violence is somehow not using common sense??? I disagree... All these acts of violence should be criticized either directly or through sarcasm (such as I did here)... To not recognize that the sarcasm is aimed against the violence is either stupidity on your part, or a style preference on your part... Either way, Deal with it.

Will school teach me that jerks like you frequent these kind of blogs??? Will it teach me to not ridicule actions such as this??? And to not take shots at the actions of a stupid President?
You need to go get yourself a shot of personality.

A word of advise for you Bernie, try to use more contemporary or creative put downs... They would be far more effective... "Act your age not your shoe size???"... I mean, Please...
The sad part is that you have used that tired old phrase several times according to your profile... No one is ever going to take you seriously with those ridiculous, immature statements and I worry about that for you Bernie...
