Rob Gronkowski reportedly out for rest of postseason with forearm injury

Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is out for the rest of the postseason after re-injuring his forearm, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio reported on Sunday night.

Citing a source, Florio reported that Gronkowski would need another surgery on the forearm.

Gronkowski left New England’s AFC divisional-round game against the Houston Texans on Sunday after falling hard on his left arm while trying to make a catch. Gronkowski originally injured the arm in Week 11 while blocking on an extra point, and he did not return until Week 17.

Gronkowski’s loss would be a major blow for the Patriots offense moving forward in the playoffs. The star tight end was also hampered by an injury in last year’s postseason.
