Football commentator Brian Billick interviewed for the Eagles head coaching job on Monday, according to a series of tweets from Comcast Sports Net Philly’s Reuben Frank.

According to Frank, Billick interviewed for the job this past Monday and is considered to be among the leading candidates to replace Andy Reid in the city of brotherly love. Billick has not coached in the NFL since 2007, when he was fired as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens. Billick won a Super Bowl with the Ravens in 2000. He currently works as a color commentator for FOX Sports’ NFL coverage, alongside play-by-play man Tom Brennaman.

Well, make up your minds, dudes: Is he with CBS or Fox. Either way, not sure what kind of toolbox he'll need to fix the Eagles.

Billick is a great motivator.  He'll get the talent in Philly to play to it's potential.  Now about that talent...

How many more people are going to be considered "leading candidates" for the Eagles job?  I can count at least 5 at the moment.

Billick seemed kind of burned out towards the end of his run with Baltimore. I don't think he would be a good fit with Philly right now, they need someone young and hungry.
