Jerry Jones: ‘It’s going to be very uncomfortable for the next few weeks and months at Valley Ranch’

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had made it clear that things are going to change in Dallas. The Cowboys’ season ended in disappointing fashion on Sunday, when the Redskins beat the Cowboys 28-18, a loss that featured three Tony Romo interceptions.

But Jones has said that Romo will not be a part of those changes, and head coach Jason Garrett at least survived Black Monday. Back when the Cowboys were alive for the postseason, Jones said Garrett will stay with the team–whether that’s still true is unconfirmed.

Jones told The Fan’s New School on 105.3 that changes are coming, but wouldn’t say what.

“I can assure you guys — I can assure our fans — it’s going to be very uncomfortable for the next few weeks and months at Valley Ranch.”

While Garrett has said Romo is a “big part” of the Cowboys future, Jones declined to comment today on the future of the head coach or defensive coordinator Rob Ryan.

Jerry Jones has screwed up the Cowboys with his bungling and ineptness and arrogance. Jimmy Johnson made the cowboys in the 90's. Jerry ran Jimmy and his staff off and it was a mess after Jimmy's team disappeared in a few years after.  jerry Jones is just bad gas that needs to be passed.

just fire Garrett as he is way too soft. Romo is a loser trade him. And Jerry just disappear for a year or two. Hire Jimmy Johnson as the GM and president and fire your stupid kid.

Uncomfortable because your plastic surgery looks ridiculous?

Uncomfortable because the team was 8-8, and you expected better?

Uncomfortable because you have wrecked a team by your idiocy/GM position?

Uncomfortable because you think you are part of the solution when you are clearly the biggest cause of the problem?

Uncomfortable because you only care about maximizing the value of the franchise?

(And could do that WITHOUT being the GM).

Uncomfortable because you cannot how to field a competitive complete team, and think you can?

Uncomfortable because you continually trade away draft picks in order to move up and then draft poorly?

Uncomfortable because you have all the power, none of the solutions, unrealistic expectations of your staff and team, and cannot or will not give them the authority to move the team how you want because YOU are blocking their efforts?

Jerry - when you say things will be "uncomfortable" at Valley Ranch, I'm afraid you have to be MUCH more specific!

Unless Jerry Jones makes himself a major part of the "big changes" within the organization, nothing will change. He may be a financial wizard, but he doesn't know a damn thing about how to manage an NFL team. He allows his personal feelings to interfere with the decisions he makes about players and coaching personnel. He needs to hire a real GM, and stay in the owner's box from now on. Or just sell the team to someone who is not an idiot.

Jerry Jones is full of shit! He's been wallowing in mediocrity  for 15 years and that isn't about to change. He likes it too much! He's spouting his per usual post season bull, where he will fire the towel boy and masseuse and feel vindicated. And we'll cheer on another 8-8 team in perpetuum!
