Steve Nash could play on Saturday, definitely on Christmas Day

The Lakers’ missing point guard could be back on Saturday. While he’s not definitely in game shape, Nash has promised he would be back on the court at least by Christmas Day.  He fully participated in practice on Thursday and Friday, and will be a game-time decision on Saturday.

The Lakers could definitely use Nash back, as the system Mike D’Antoni wants is weak with Chris Duhon and Darius Morris running the offense. Pau Gasol is also likely to return soon, making Nash’s return even better news for the Lakers.

Steve Nash practiced Friday for the 2nd time with no setbacks. Nash on Saturday return? "Low chance." Christmas? "For sure."
