Will Grier commits to Gators

Uncategorized

High school standout quarterback Will Grier, who threw for a national record 10 touchdown passes and 834 yards in a game last month, took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon to announce that he has committed to the University of Florida to play for the Gators after he graduates in 2014.

That game in which he threw for 10 touchdown passes for his school, Davidson (N.C.) Day School, ended in a win for Grier with an incredible score of 104-80 over Harrells (N.C.) Christian Academy. His father, the coach, said he had never seen anything like it and probably will never see that kind of performance again in his lifetime:

“I don’t know what to say, It was crazy. I don’t think I’ll ever live to see something like that happen again. It was just nuts.”

Grier, who currently stands 6’3″ and weighs 171 pounds as a high school junior, has scholarship offers from Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee and Wake Forest, among other schools. He tweeted a picture of himself in a Gators jersey on Twitter on Thursday, writing, “committed.”

This just in: Florida's application process now revised in light of embarrassing episode with Florida QB recruit. School will now require the following in order to be accepted to Florida:

1. Proof that you know the difference between "your" and "you're".

2. Proof that you can add 2+2.

Anyone answering those 2 questions correctly will be admitted.

I heard this kid sent Notre Dame a letter that said:

"I really want to go to you're school and play QB".

The Notre Dame admissions office immediately threw it in the trash.

Gatornation has to be proud to have such an incredible quarterback committing to their program. Not only does he possess outstanding physical skills and leadership on the field, but clearly he is a leader in technology and intelligence off the field. What an amazing bright young man to be able to use Twitter to relay his entire enthusiastic message about his decision to go  to Florida. His use of shortening the word "you're" to "your" in order to be able to include  his entire message, while understanding that today's society can use their common sense to recognize why he did this, shows the type of decision making that is beyond his years that will lead the Gators to their 3rd national championship in this brief century. Anyone who does not recognize why he did this is clearly lagging behind in the evolution department.

Kudos to JD Johnston for exposing and revealing yet another SEC shell game and fraudulent batch of lies. We know now, based on the ACTUAL FACTS, that the ACC places more players into the NFL than the SEC per capita. (ie can't use total numbers since the conferences have different numbers of teams). So does the Big 12, and possibly the Big Ten depending on the A&M and Missouri numbers which I have not taken the time to check.

ACC--23.2 players per program

Big 12--22.1 players per program (plus A&M and Mizzou players)

SEC---22 players per program (MINUS A&M and Mizzou players wrongfully counted as SEC players)

Big 10--21.3 players per program

So as we can see, the statement that a player playing in a SEC program has a "far better chance of playing in the NFL" is patently false. Basically the 4 top conferences are essentially even at putting players in the NFL with no significant statistical advantage to anyone. But the stats show that the ACC and Big 12 have been better than the SEC at putting players into the NFL.

BWWWWWWWWWWHAAAAAAAAAAHHAAAA. Florida QB recruit does not know the difference between "your" and "you're". Typical SEC recruit. On top of that, since the facts prove that he has a better CHANCE of making it to the NFL if he had signed with an ACC school or a Big 12 school (see the numbers below), then you really have to question his intelligence. Also, all one has to do is look at the putrid history of Florida QBs in the NFL to see that his chances of making it to the NFL are very slim, and even if he does, the odds are that he will be a 3rd stringer holding a clipboard for a few years, OR that he competes on dating game shows after getting cut.

BWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHAAAAAAAAAAAHHHAAAAAAAAAA.

Keep settin' em up and I will keep "knockin' em out of da park.

the topic was chances of playing in the NFL, and you claimed this dumb kid was smart because he stood a "far better" chance of playing in the NFL by playing in the SEC conference. You then tried to back up your erroneous statement after Johnston shot you down by claiming as proof of your moronic statement that the SEC had more players in the NFL than other conferences. Except that is NOT proof of anything and does NOT prove a player has a "Far better" chance of playing in the NFL. All it does is prove the SEC has more teams than other conferences STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPID. After I demonstrated the stats and percentages to expose your flawed fraudulent argument, you could not refute any of it and then claimed you were talking ONLY about totat numbers, which again proves nothing on top of being ANOTHER LIE.

@georgekaplan101 Nobody in the SEC is afraid of Notre Dame n the national championship game. Their confidence goes hand in hand with the fact that Notre Dame is the underdog. But good luck anyways, I don't think you have the sack to show up n here on Jan. 8th after the Irish get steamrolled

georgekaplan101
georgekaplan101

if you keep saying that enough, maybe it will cover over your fear that Notre Dame will win. I can feel it. You are scared. You know what will happen if ND wins and you will be the biggest fool who ever lived. And you will have to live with it forever. You are nervous. Your posts expose you. The uncertainty, the false bravado, the scattered thinking, the inability to focus. You know deep down there is a very real possibility Notre Dame will win, and then your world comes crashing down along with the entire SEC MORON BRIGADE. I love it. I can smell the fear.

Put down the video games, don't smoke the meth pipe, and maybe someday you will succeed in life because you understand basic logic and percentages and fundamental statistics and you won't be stuck cleaning up cat pee in some pee stained trailer home in the South because you were too STOOOOOOOOOOPID to do anything more.

 @JohnP

Just as I thought. Your statement is absolutely false about going to an SEC school gives him a "Far Better Chance" of making it to the NFL, I proved you wrong, you don't understand basic percentages and statistics, I exposed yet another SEC fraud and myth and lies with FACTS, you are simply STOOOOOOOOPID and cannot refute my facts and logic, and now you are going to go to a corner and cry because you are butthurt I proved you are an idiot once again.

BWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHAAAAAAAAAAAAA.

I love it. Ohhhh, how I love exposing the STOOOOOOOOOOOOPIDITY of jonnypeepee.

the answer to my above question MORON, since you are too STOOOOOOOOOOPID, is that the conference with 100 players from 10 teams has a better success RATE of placing players into the NFL (10 per team) than the conference with 40 teams who placed twice as many players into the NFL (5 per team). But see, you are so dumb and STOOOOOOOOPID you don't even understand that basic fundamental statistic.

JohnP
JohnP

@georgekaplan101 And my discussion with JdJohnston was centered around total number of active NFL players in the NFL from conferences.

JohnP
JohnP

@georgekaplan101 What you fail to understand is that I was not and still am not discussing this with you. It was a discussion between JdJohnston and myself. You are acting childish and butting into our discussion with your negative combative comments. Do you think there's a reason nobody is talking to you about anything football related?

georgekaplan101
georgekaplan101

 @JohnP

WRONG DUMMY. We can read what you said. Here, I will quote yourself for you:

"He's smarter than you think because he is choosing to go to an SEC school with he will have a FAR greater chance to win a national championship and go to the NFL than anywhere else. lol"

FAR GREATER CHANCE.....TO GO TO THE NFL

that is exactly what you said. Nothing about total numbers. You tried to back up your ERRONEOUS statement with total numbers, but both Johnston and ME exposed your idiocy. Chance = rate of success = percentage success. That claim can only be proven or disproven by looking at percentage success rate of each conference. Why? BECAUSE THE CONFERENCES HAVE DIFFERENT NUMBERS OF TEAMS. If a conference had 40 teams in it and another one had 10, most likely the one with 40 would have more total players in the NFL than the one with 10. That is not because there is anything special or better about the conference with 40, its simply because they have more teams. If the one with 40 placed 200 players in the NFL and the one with 10 placed 100 players into the NFL, which would be the conference that produced a better CHANCE of making it into the NFL? Come on jonnypeepee, lets see if you can answer this basic statistical question. Put your thinking cap on now. I will give you a cookie if you can give me the correct answer. Don't let me call you STOOOOOOOOOOPID again.

JohnP
JohnP

@georgekaplan101 My discussion with JdJohnston was centered around the total number of players in the NFL. What conference has the most active roster players in the NFL? It's the SEC, supported by facts.

Thanks for trying to butt into our discussion, but again you are clearly missing the point

georgekaplan101
georgekaplan101

 @JohnP

WRONG STOOOOOOOOOOOOPID. You said a player has a "FAR better CHANCE" of making it to the NFL if he plays in the SEC. The stats prove you WRONG. He has a better chance of making it to the NFL if he plays in the ACC. The ACC places more players per team in the NFL than the SEC. So does the Big 12. See dummy, the conferences don't have the same amount of teams you idiot. So to measure PERCENTAGE SUCCESS RATE, which is what you claimed (Ie "FAR BETTER CHANCE") you have to look at the average NFL success rate per conference. The SEC is behind the ACC and the Big 12. The CHANCES of playing in the NFL are better in the ACC or the Big 12 based on the FACTS and your own numbers. And your statement is patently absurd about it being a "far better chance" when all the conferences are almost even on the rate at placing players into the NFL. NONE OF THEM ARE "FAR BETTER" at placing players into the NFL.

You won't understand any of this, because you are STOOOOOOOOOOOOOPID. This is for the edification of those out there who have at least a GED level of education and can understand basic percentages and statistical rate analysis. This is not the kind of stuff a Jack in the Box bun separator like you would ever understand. But most of all, this is to show how STOOOOOOOOOOOOOPID you are and how much smarter I am than you, which is always fun to show the world on the world wide webs.

JohnP
JohnP

@georgekaplan101 Wow you are dumb. The total number of players in the NFL is lead by the SEC. It's no contest. It is factual

JohnP
JohnP

@georgekaplan101 What conference has the most active roster players in the NFL is the point. I'm sorry you are trying to say that is a lie because it isn't and that is the entire point of the conversation. Your attempt to try to manipulate the information so that you feel better does not matter at all in regards to the initial point of the conversation. I

WHAT CONFERENCE HAS THE MOST ACTIVE ROSTER PLAYERS IN THE NFL??

BWHAHAHAA
