Report: Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel and GM Scott Pioli informed they will not be back next season

UPDATE: Multiple reports indicate that Nick Wright’s report is incorrect, though Wright stands by his original tweet.

Chiefs coach Romeo Crennel and GM Scott Pioli have both been informed that they will not be back next season, reports former Kansas City radio host Nick Wright, who has a reputation for breaking Chiefs news.

Pioli has largely foiled an otherwise promising roster by failing in his mission of finding a quarterback. Crennel guided the Chiefs to a 2-1 finish as interim coach in 2011, and it was Pioli’s decision to keep him on.

The floundering Chiefs are currently 2-12 and average 13.9 points per game, the worst in the league.

More media bs. Wait until the Chiefs or the NFL make any announcement. The rest is just the media libtards out for 1 minute of glory, even if it is wrong, or hurts someone. They are ALL garbage......

Really hope this is right.  Hope they both take a year or two off to get their heads straight after the Belcher mess.
