San Jose St. only had to look as far as their own state to find their next head coach. The San Jose Mercury-News reports that the Spartans have hired University of San Diego head coach Ron Caragher following Mike MacIntyre’s departure to the University of Colorado.

The hire represents a homecoming of sorts for Caragher, who grew up in the San Jose area. He went 44-22 in six years at the University of San Diego, a school he took over following the departure of Jim Harbaugh to Stanford University.

Keep up with all the moves with a scorecard.

Well it seems like most jobs have filled up. Anyone remember when job changes used to happen after the season was all over. Now everyone is neurotic about missing recruiting, bonus they get to hurt another team.
