A grand total of 19 Patriots are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the 49ers. All 19 players were also listed as having limited participation in practice on Friday. Only one player on the injury report, linebacker Jerod Mayo, was listed as probable rather than questionable.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski highlights the injury report, having made his first return to practice on Friday since his surgery on Nov. 19 to repair a broken forearm. While he is listed as questionable, meaning there’s a 50-50 chance he could play, a league source says he will not play on Sunday night.
Despite being listed as questionable, league source says TE Rob Gronkowski will not play Sunday night against the 49ers.
