Joe Blanton agrees to two-year Angels deal
Free agent pitcher Joe Blanton has agreed to a two-year deal with the Los Angeles Angels, according to tweets from CBS Sports’ Scott Miller and Jon Heyman.

Blanton spent four season each in Oakland and Philadelphia before being traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers late in the 2012 season. Blanton had a 10-13 record in 2012 between the two teams, with a 4.71 ERA and a career-high 166 strikeouts. Blanton won a World Series in 2008 as a member of the Philadelphia Phillies.
