Only a few years ago, Hanson was considered to be a top prospect in the BRaves’ farm system, but his production dropped off last season, when he was also placed on the disabled list with a strained back. Hanson’s ERA has climbed in each of his four years in the majors, reaching a high of 4.48 last season.
A reliever, Walden also suffered an off-year in 2012 after an All-Star appearance in 2011.
Angels win this one.
@jjhardyjohnson LOL. Apparently you haven't seen Hanson throw lately. He holds the ball in full view of the batter for a full agonizing second before his release. No wonder batter beat him like a drum. Nice kid, but the Angels are welcome to his 13-10 record and 4.48 ERA.
