Ndamukong Suh fined $30,000 for kick of Matt Schaub, says it was inadvertent

The problem with Suh's claim is you can see the video.  It's not his foot and leg colliding because of momentum from the fall.  Once his foot makes contact, you can see the additional force, intentionally applied, in a direction that is not the same as the momentum that led to the initial contact.

You see, Mr. Suh, when you do bad things all the time, people tend to assume that every bad thing you do is intentional. But no worries, the consistent justice of Roger Goodell is in effect. No suspension, but a $30k fine.

I like you Suh because you are a good player at times and you play for the Lions but that was dirty so stop with the bulls...!

A similar thing happened in my office yesterday.  I was in the break room making a cup of coffee.  I tripped on a stirring straw and started to fall.  I twisted so my left shoulder would take the brunt of the fall (I am right handed).  As I twisted and rolled, my right heel caught both testicles of my boss.  The first blow was by accident, but the following 13 were intentional.  Don't tell anyone.  As you can see from the security video, the entire incident was a freak event. 

I don't get it... how long does it take to keep reviewing the case and in the meantime, fine him? What kind of craziness it that? Call it for what it is, NFL - he's a dirty player who keeps making dirty plays and he should be suspended, if not banned from playing the game.

Suh apparently has well established problems with personal honesty and behavior within parameters set by society.   He is unable to accept the fact that his behavior, whether intentional, or inadvertent, is beyond basic norms of fair play and sporting conduct.  He needs to publicly demonstrate that he has accepted that his behavior is unacceptable and that he can play the game within the scope of the rules.  The Lions should put him on probation where any infraction resulting in a personal foul will cost him a day's wages until he has succeeded in cleaning up his act.  

He's a jerk and dirty player. If you watch the replay slowly you can see where he plainly gives his leg an extra kick toward his privates. He should have gotten at least a $75K fine.

He knew what he was trying to do, Try to NOT kick people when they are down or standing, This guy is Dirty and being a Lions fan we don't need moon crickets like this

I really dont think very highly of Suh but he should appeal this. His face was in the turf and not even looking in that direction. I would think if he meant to do that he would be looking toward his target. His reputation bit him on this one though. Dont care for him at all but thats a raw deal there. I would be the first one calling for his head if it were even remotely intentional.

Suh really, truly is a piece of work - frankly, he's lucky (incredibly lucky) that his skill and talent as a football player make him worthwhile to society in some capacity. It's pretty obvious that he's got significant personality disorders, anger management issues, difficulty telling the truth, and generally sociopathic tendencies. Absent his athletic gifts, he'd be dead or in prison after about four days in any community.

Sucks does everything on purpose. When was the last time anyone saw a lineman kick his leg out like that when going down? should have been suspended for two games at least.

WHY he get fine if NFL did not find evidence that he did it on purpose? AM I missing something?

I think it is funny that when the incident happened CBS and their announcers didn't even say anything expect for sly little comments.  Then CBS went to commercial break and when they came back OOOHHHH was this intentional. What a joke some big wig at CBS during the break wanted to make it bigger then it was so they made it and everyone bit.  I understand the Suh had some issue;s in the past, but stop looking into every incident and making it bigger then it is.

My only comment without getting into whether it was inadvertent or not is this simple fact.  The NFL is completely backwards on this situation.  Suh was not suspended because they said it was not intentional (NFL said it).  So if it was unintentional like the NFL said then there should be no reason for a fine. 

It was as inadvertent as the fine was.

I just watched this video a few times on youtube.  He kicked him on purpose.  His head turns to the left at the last second to check the target and then he brings his foot down violently on the QB.  It was not a natural physical action, even with the OL engaged with him.  AND given Suh's history, he should be suspended and fined heavily.
