Jay Cutler ‘looking good’ for game on Sunday says Lovie Smith
Bears coach Lovie Smith is optimistic about his starting quarterback’s status for Sunday’s game against the Vikings. Jay Cutler suffered a concussion on Nov. 11 against the Texans. The Chicago Tribune’s Vaughn McClure tweeted what Smith said about Cutler’s status:

The NFL’s Adam Schefter added details on what would be necessary for Cutler to start:
Lovie Smith said hope is Jay Cutler cleared by an independent neurologist Sat. as required by NFL concussion protocol. If so, Cutler starts.—

Cutler’s official status for Sunday is “questionable.” Jason Campbell started in Cutler’s absence and the Bears lost 32-7 to the 49ers. The Bears are currently tied for first with the Packers in the NFC North.
